About Telehealth Care

Last updated: August 5, 2026

This page is an explainer, not the consent form. The telehealth informed consent you will review and accept during intake is provided by our clinical partner and lives here: openloophealth.com/telehealth-consent.

This page explains, in plain language, how telehealth care works through PureMuze and our clinical partner.

What telehealth is

Telehealth uses secure technology to connect you with a licensed provider remotely, for intake, review, prescriptions when appropriate and follow-up, without an in-person visit.

Benefits and limitations

Telehealth offers convenient, private access to care. It also has limits: a provider cannot physically examine you and some conditions require in-person evaluation. Your provider will tell you if telehealth is not appropriate for your situation.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate, complete health information, including medications, allergies and history. Inaccurate information can lead to unsafe care.

Privacy & emergencies

Your information is handled under HIPAA. Telehealth is not for emergencies, if you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

Consent

By proceeding through intake you acknowledge and consent to receiving care via telehealth.
