PureMuze is for women in midlife. A meaningful share of that audience uses screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings. A site that fails them fails the people it was built for, so we treat accessibility as part of the product rather than an afterthought.
The standard we hold ourselves to
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We are not claiming certification, and we are not claiming perfection. We are telling you the target and giving you a way to tell us when we miss it.
What we have done
- Every page starts with a skip-to-content link for keyboard users.
- Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Body text meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and large text 3:1.
- Images carry alternative text, and decorative shapes are hidden from assistive technology.
- Headings follow a logical order so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
- Form fields have real labels, not placeholder text standing in for them.
- The site works at 200% zoom and reflows to a single column on small screens.
- Nothing on the site flashes, auto-plays audio, or moves without your input.
Known limitations
Product images are served from our clinical partner's media library, and their alternative text is generated from the product name rather than written by hand. The clinical intake and patient portal are operated by OpenLoop on care.puremuze.com and are outside our direct control; we have raised accessibility with them and will report progress here.

You will never be stuck because of a barrier on this site. If you cannot complete something here, tell us and we will help you complete it another way, at no disadvantage to you.
